We Are Important

We are still in this world and the god of this world is working double time that we feel less in this world. The enemy would like us to think that we are no good. That we are simply average. That poverty is going to be our lot in life. That this world is only for the fortunate people who has been born with a silver platter on their mouth. That this world is only for those whose beauty pass the standard of beauty pageants. That unless we have someone we know as influential, promotion and success could be tough and hard to find.

Yes, everything above is true for the godless but not for the righteous. There is no other hope among the wicked and godless other than their own limited strength, limited knowledge, and temporary power. We have so much more in us than what the people in the world have. We have the Word of God as our back up. We have the Holy Spirit as our great comforter, and teacher. We have our great Father who has been our constant cheer leader since the day we were born. We are backed up by the King of Kings and the Lord of lords.

Yes, we may think that we are forgotten. We may consider where we are as our fate. We may be in the lowest rank or position. We may be serving someone for a long time. We may be in debt and it looks like its impossible to pay it all off. We may be heart broken and it looks like Mr. Right is elusive. We may be in a pit and it looks like there is no smooth place up ahead. Let us know then that we are never a mistake since the beginning. He enthusiastically welcomed us on the day of our birth. He has in mind our bright tomorrow. We are so important to Him to ever miss His calling over our lives.

When the accusing voices begin to say the impossibilities of our future, let us make a decision to go back to our Creator who is the Master of turning the impossible possible.

We have a Great God and that Great God is our Great Father too.

As the Book of Isaiah says in Isaiah 49:1 (NIV)
Listen to me, you islands; hear this, you distant nations: Before I was born the Lord called me; from my birth he has made mention of my name.

Thank you Lord! čÖé
