GOOD NEWS

For I am not ashamed of the GOSPEL (Good News) of Christ, for it is god’s power working with salvation (for deliverance from eternal death) to everyone who believes with a personal trust and a confident surrender and firm reliance, to the Jew first and also to the Greek – Romans 1:16  (AMP)

The Gospel is the Good News of Jesus Christ. In other words, when we will hear it, it makes us alive. It refreshes us. It gives us hope. It encourages us. It makes us wants to trust in Jesus Christ. It makes us wants to believe in Jesus Christ. it makes us wants to repent from all our sins and turn our eyes towards Jesus Christ. It makes us so whole and so secure not because of what we have and with who we are connected with but because no one can surpass the love of Jesus Christ. It makes us wants to talk about Him and share Him with someone else. Why? Because the Gospel is Good News.

The Good News of Jesus Christ God’s power working for deliverance from hell to everyone who believes with a personal trust. That is when we believe in Him and trust with all our heart that He is the Son of God. It is God’s power to everyone who has a confident surrender to Jesus Christ without any doubt.

The Good News of Jesus Christ removes the torments in our mind that satan kept whispering to us day by day. His Word cleanses us from all of satan’s deception and brings us to the knowledge of Him. John 8:32 says that we will know the TRUTH and the truth will set us free. Jesus Christ Himself said that He is the Way, the Truth, and the Life. Therefore Jesus Christ Himself sets us free. Free from what? Free from insecurities. Free from sicknesses and diseases. Free from all kinds of fear. Free from the bondage of sin and death. Free from rituals and religion. Free from poverty. Free from worries and anxiety. It is in the knowledge of Jesus Christ that we will begin to be released into the person that He wants us to become.

Now that’s Good News. That’s Gospel. But religion makes the Gospel so complicated. And many of us who has been bound by religion also makes this too complicated. We make the Good News so scary which makes us looks so scary which makes the people so scared and makes them love the world instead of being with the people of God and in His House.

The Good News of Jesus Christ free us from condemnation but we condemned the Prodigals. We condemned those who loved Jesus Christ because they don’t do it our way. We transformed people not into the likeness of Jesus Christ but into the likeness of us because of the spirit of control. We want to control what the Holy Spirit is suppose to control and as a result instead of receiving messages that gives life, we give messages that kills life.

I personally repent from being a hypocrite. I personally repent from being too legalistic. I personally repent from being so condemning. I personally repent from forcing people to religion instead of leading to have an intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. I totally repent from my fear of men instead of my fear of God.

My reading of the Scriptures bring me to Jesus Christ and that’s the most freeing encounter ever that I have received. Having my eyes opened that the Gospel is Good News is good news in itself.

How about you?

Are you condemned when you come to church?

Are you condemned when a minister comes and talk to you?

Are you condemned in your thoughts?

Are you condemning others?

Are you scared of God?

Then maybe just like me, you have given religion and satan too much access in your life and mind.

Today I pray that the Good News of Jesus Christ will be rooted in your  heart so that you will bear fruit in your life.

Have A Great Day
