Matthew 2:1-2 NOW WHEN Jesus was born in Bethlehem of Judea in the days of Herod the king, behold, wise men [astrologers] from the east came to Jerusalem, asking, Where is He Who has been born King of the Jews? For we have seen His star in the east at its rising and have come to worship Him (AMP).
That made me in awe. For a long time there was silence. For a long time, there was prophecy of a King yet to be born. But, in the midst of prophecy were circumstances that’s seemed hopeless. The silence must be defeaning but the expectancy must have been arising from day to day to day. Then the nature aligned with the prophecy and people arose in hope now looking where the King has been born.
Jesus was still a baby but worshipped as King. The Book of Isaiah 7:14 said, Therefore the Lord Himself shall give you a sign: Behold, the young woman who is unmarried and a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel [God with us] (AMP).
His birth could have been the most exciting event ever. His smile could have been a signal of hope. His cry could have been tears of compassion. His presence could have been everything.
Sometimes, we maybe doing the right thing and everything looks like in order. Our career is soaring high more than ever. Our relationship is flourishing. Our savings goal has been reached. We are the most fluent in different languages. We enjoyed the thousand likes in social media. Or, probably, we made a name for ourselves. But, when we go home and the phones are off, the connection is gone, the lights turned dark, and everyone’s sleeping, if we take a deeper look, we could always see a space in our heart.
Can we give the space to Jesus?? Just say, Jesus, I’ve got it all but I’m allowing you to park in the space of my life called my heart.
We have no idea over how that parking space become a parking spot that will impact not just in the garage of our decision making but in the pathway of our lives.
The King will always transform how a commoner thinks.
Jesus Loves You🌻
