Trust Your Driver

Last night, I was backriding my #MyLoves motorbike and the traffic was so bad plus big trucks were so scary behind us, in front of us and in between us. I watched some backriders and they were so smiling as if the scene is so familiar and no longer new to them. I was observing my #MyLove and he was a relax driver as always. I held on him tightly out of fear, sometimes with eyes closed, and ride on his pace believing that we will reach our friends house and minister.

On the other hand, me, being contemplative as I am, learned so much from the road:

1) Observe The Driver. If his inner confidence is in manifestations, then throw off your apprehensions and ride with them. They see firsthand. They know if they can carry their passenger. If they think they can, then, believe that you both can.

2) Hold Tightly. Sometimes, the best way to ride is to strengthen the grip. You don’t need to say anything. You don’t need to think of anything dangerous. Just take a firm clasp and stay on the ride.

3) Believe With The Driver. If the driver thinks that you both can reach to your destination safely, then, believe with him or her. Keep your doubts on your head and speak what he or she believes.

Life is like that. If you surrendered your life to the Lord Jesus, then He gives you the Holy Spirit to help you, lead you, teach you, and guide you. Sometimes, circumstances are way too scary. You might receive a bad medical report. You might experience financial crisis. Your family may have major misunderstanding. You might be going through betrayal of a friend or relationship breakup. Whatever that is. Pause for a little break and discern not what you see but what solutions the Holy Spirit is doing. Listen to your heart. Is there peace? Is there restlessness? Then ask the Holy Spirit for the answer. The Bible said that the Holy Spirit knows the bottomless things of God (1 Cor 2:10 AMP). Go to the Bible and read with a listening heart. Pray and keep your spritual ears tune in with His answer.

When you have the answer then walk in step with the Holy Spirit. Trust that He perfectly knows what He is doing. Hold tightly to what He said and if He enjoys the ride, then give yourself the permission to enjoy life on your way to your destination.

1 Corinthians 2:9-10 That’s why we have this Scripture text: No one’s ever seen or heard anything like this, Never so much as imagined anything quite like it–What God has arranged for those who love him. But you’ve seen and heard it because God by his Spirit has brought it all out into the open before you. The Spirit, not content to flit around on the surface, dives into the depths of God, and brings out what God planned all along. The Message

What if you feel that He is not enjoying? Don’t worry. You won’t move forward not prepared. He will fill your spiritual tank with faith and you will never reach in your destination in scarcity. He will forever sustain you until Jesus will be able to finish what He started in you.

Just trust your driver.
